HRM Queen Khadijat Abdulkadir, the Queen of Okpella Kingdom, Edo State, and Founder/Chief Executive Officer of INGRYD Academy as well as Digital African Woman (DAW), paid a scheduled courtesy visit to the Registrar/Chief Executive of the Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria, Mr. Adebayo Adegbiji, FNCS.

The visit was aimed at fostering strategic discussions around digital transformation, capacity building, and the promotion of digital inclusion, particularly for women and young people across Africa. During the meeting, Her Royal Majesty highlighted the vision and ongoing impact of both INGRYD Academy and Digital African Woman (DAW) in equipping individuals with relevant digital skills needed to thrive in the evolving global technology ecosystem.

In his remarks, the Registrar/Chief Executive, Mr. Adebayo Adegbiji, FNCS, warmly welcomed Her Royal Majesty and commended her commitment towards advancing digital literacy, youth empowerment, and women’s participation in technology-driven initiatives. He reaffirmed the Council’s dedication to supporting initiatives that align with its mandate of regulating and advancing the Information Technology profession in Nigeria.

Both parties engaged in fruitful discussions centered on possible areas of collaboration, particularly in digital skills development, professional certification pathways, technology advocacy, and creating opportunities for greater participation of underrepresented groups within the digital economy.
